About this product
Choose from twenty-four stock dies; size, shape and finish are listed in the table below. The body is metal, produced in a gold or silver finish. Name and logo are applied by sublimation printing — because the dye is heat-set into the surface, a corporate logo comes through in its own colors with photographic detail. Both pin and magnetic backing fit every model; magnetic backing doesn't pierce the fabric, so it's preferred for suits and higher-end uniforms. Both backings ship ready to use with 3M adhesive tape on the back.

How is the name and logo applied?
By sublimation printing. The dye is heat-set into the metal surface, so no layer is left sitting on top — the print doesn't chip off and doesn't wear with use. A corporate logo can be applied in its own colors, with photographic detail. We don't do laser engraving.
Should I choose pin or magnetic backing?
Both fit every model. Magnetic backing doesn't pierce the fabric, so it's preferred for suits and higher-end uniforms; pin backing holds more firmly. There's a price difference between the two. Both ship ready to use with 3M adhesive tape on the back. Magnetic backing isn't recommended for staff who wear a pacemaker.
What sizes are these produced in?
There are nine stock sizes: 70 x 45, 70 x 37, 70 x 35, 72 x 40, 72 x 27, 68 x 42, 68 x 33, 60 x 32 and 75 x 23 mm. Which of the twenty-four models comes in which size is listed in the model table on the page.
What's the minimum production quantity?
We produce from 10 units. That means a small headcount, or a single extra badge for a new hire, is never a problem.
Can the logo be printed in color?
Yes. Sublimation is full-color printing; a corporate logo is applied in its own colors, including gradients and fine detail. There's no separate color limit.
