About this product
Gift cards, discount cards, membership cards, and warranty cards all come from the same body; what differs is the tracking method printed on them. Sequential numbering, a scratch-off panel, or a barcode makes each card unique, so the number of cards redeemed can be counted once a campaign ends. Warranty cards leave a writable area for the serial number and sale date.

The approved file goes to our offset or thermal retransfer line. Lamination and cutting happen at the same facility.

Is there a production difference between a gift card and a discount card?
The body is the same; the difference is in the tracking method. A gift card needs a sequential number or barcode to track balance; a discount card usually just has the campaign date and terms printed on it.
How does the scratch-off panel work?
After the code is printed, a silver scratch-off layer is applied over it. The code stays hidden until the customer scratches it off — this is used for promotional and sweepstakes cards.
How is the sale date written on a warranty card?
A writable panel is left on the card, and the dealer fills in the sale date and serial number by hand. If you'd rather, we can print the serial number sequentially during production.
Can I see how many cards were redeemed once the campaign ends?
If every card is made unique with a sequential number or barcode, the redeemed cards can be counted. The tracking itself happens in your POS or CRM system — we produce the card to work with that system.
