About this product
The most economical way to tie a card to a person or a product. The code is printed onto the card during production — no label is stuck on afterward — and because it sits under the laminate, it doesn't wear off or get scratched away. It works with any till, turnstile, or handheld terminal that has a barcode reader.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions about Barcode Cards. If you don't find your question here, you can call us.
Can every card carry a different barcode?
Yes. Variable-data printing gives each card its own code — this is the standard approach for membership and asset tracking. You can send us the code list yourself, or ask us to generate them sequentially.
Does the barcode wear off over time?
No. The code is printed onto the card during production and sits under the protective laminate. Unlike a label stuck on afterward, it doesn't scratch off or fade from rubbing around in a pocket.
Which barcode type should I choose?
Your existing reader decides that. Code 128 is the most widely supported type, retail point-of-sale systems use EAN-13, and if you want people to scan with a phone you need a QR code. Tell us your system and we'll pick the right type.
Can a barcode and a printed number appear on the same card?
Yes. A human-readable number is printed next to the barcode the reader scans, so if the reader is ever down, staff can enter the number by hand.
